Cloisters Pavilion

Based on the history of the park (heavily used from people to escape the everyday life hustle) the design is a sculptural-like, visual stimulating riverside pavilion that plays with form, repetition and different views though small “cuts”/openings in the structure. The design is inspired by an important landmark at the area, the cloisters chamber at the University of Glasgow and is divided in two areas. One is intended to be experienced individually, like a meditation exercise and the other as a gathering point - discussion room.
